Bookkeeper

Leigh and her husband Waymond (yes, the same Waymond from the previous page) moved to Tacoma in 2006 from Kansas City, MO. Being, by nature, a very organized and thoughtful individual she has helped several companies to become more streamlined and organized in the area of office management and bookkeeping. In May of 2011 she and her husband adopted two boys, Isayas and Ermias, from Ethiopia. This necessitated a move from her full-time job as office manager and bookkeeper at York Enterprises, a Tacoma-based residential remodeler, to part-time bookkeeper for Hemisphere so she could spend more time with her boys.

Her knowledge of bookkeeping and her great customer service were a great fit for Hemisphere, and since she had an in with the Senior Designer (her husband) the table was set. In addition to being a stellar bookkeeper, Leigh is also an avid cook, baker, and seamstress, as well as a maker of various paper crafts, including handmade books and journals.

INTERESTING FACTOID: Leigh was once serenaded by a brass band made up entirely of gray-haired men.
