Adam Welch has lived and worked in the Northwest since the mid-1980s. A love for drawing and a brief encounter with Tacoma native Dale Chihuly, led him to pursue a path in the creative arts.
Adam earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Visual Communication Design and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications from the University of Washington, where he also held a position as Lead Graphic Designer in Husky Union. After working as a designer and production artist, Adam founded Hemisphere Design in 2001 as a full-service design firm.
As the firm has grown, Adam's expertise has grown to encompass a broad range of creative, technical and marketing skills. Adam and his wife, Christy, have raised their two children in the Tacoma area. They are passionate about volunteering in schools, with sports teams and on behalf of non-profit groups.
